The LL Social Co. Shelling Field Notes Tee — Sanibel is inspired by early mornings, low tides and the quiet ritual of searching the shoreline for something worth keeping. Designed to feel like a page lifted from an artist-naturalist’s personal field journal, this piece captures Sanibel through loose pencil studies, handwritten observations and softly washed watercolor.

Across the back, a collection of shells native to Southwest Florida is sketched and documented as though discovered during a morning along the island’s shoreline. A Florida Fighting Conch leads the study alongside the prized Junonia, with Lightning Whelk, Alphabet Cone and Lettered Olive completing the principal finds. Handwritten measurements, shelling notes, tide and wind observations, a loosely rendered island map and a weathered compass give the artwork the intimate feeling of looking over the shoulder of someone recording the morning as it unfolds. A sand dollar, Calico Scallop and tiny ghost crab are tucked among the notes for those who take the time to look a little closer.

Muted sand, shell blush, weathered ochre, sea-glass and Saltwashed Navy are applied as translucent watercolor touches over loose graphite-style linework, allowing the color of the tee itself to become part of the artwork. LOW TIDE • GOOD FINDS quietly finishes the journal at the bottom.

The front is intentionally understated, with a small distressed LL SOCIAL CO. mark at the left chest in Saltwashed Navy. The sleeves remain clean, allowing the illustrated back to tell the story.
